- Tax relief: medical expenses, working from home, flat rate expenses and pension contributions.
- Company car and van benefit in kind, including the electric vehicle reductions for 2026 and 2027.
- Self-employed tax with Class S PRSI and preliminary tax, and the full cost of employing someone.
- Maternity Benefit, Child Benefit and the State Pension under the Total Contributions Approach, with Budget 2027 rates (announced).
- National Childcare Scheme subsidy with the 2026/27 thresholds, SUSI grant and Fair Deal.
- CAO points, working days with Irish public holidays, compound interest and solar panel payback.
Budget 2027 rates added
10 October 2026
- Income tax: standard rate band up 2,500 to 46,500 for a single person; personal, employee and earned income credits up 125 to 2,125 (announced, from 1 January 2027).
- USC: the 2% band now runs to 30,300 (announced, from 1 January 2027).
- PRSI: employee rate 4.35% from 1 October 2026, rising to 4.5% from 1 October 2027.
- Rent tax credit: 1,150 single and 2,300 couple for 2027 (announced).
- Capital gains tax: 31% for disposals on or after 7 October 2026 (announced).
- Gift and inheritance tax: Group A 420,000, Group B 44,000, Group C 22,000 from 7 October 2026 (announced).
- Help to Buy: maximum raised from 30,000 to 35,000 (announced).
- Exit tax on funds and ETFs: 35% from 1 January 2027 (announced).
- Minimum wage: 14.94 an hour from 1 January 2027 (announced).
